» COMPUTER-MONITOR RECYCLE AND DISPOSAL

PLEASE CALL 1-514-999-0712 FOR FURTHER INFORMATION CONCERNING OUR RECYCLING SERVICES FOR YOUR OBSOLETE USED MONITOR AND COMPUTER EQUIPMENT.

The rapid turnover in computer technology is having a troubling side effect: each year millions
of computers come to the end of their useful life. A recent study estimates that about 21 million
computer systems became obsolete in the U.S. in 2002. By 2007, about 500 million PCs will likely
have become obsolete! It’s estimated that three-quarters of all computers ever purchased in the U.S. are currently stored in warehouses, attics and office closets. Some are being recycled. Of those 21
million computers that became obsolete in 2002, only 11% were recycled. The rest are ending up in
landfills or incinerators. Many of these obsolete computers and monitors could be recycled for their parts. The improper disposal of PC and monitor equipment is quickly becoming an environmental hazard. We can assist you in the recycling and disposal of your used computers and monitors. Please call us at 1-514-999-0712 or send us an email to sales@usedcomputershop.com for further information.
